Key Stage 1
We are able to offer students extra tuition from an early age, which will give them a huge advantage as they take their first steps in education. We understand that starting school can be quite a big step, and it may take some children longer to settle than others in KS1. On the other hand, maybe your child has really taken to school and you want to push them further ahead? Either way, we have tutors that can help! Subjects covered include Maths, English (Reading, Grammar, and Phonics), Science, Languages and preparation for SATs both in group or 1-2-1 settings.
Key Stage 2
Building on the foundations of KS1, KS2 sees students increase their learning, skills and knowledge as they prepare for secondary school. In the first couple of years there is a noticeable expansion of a child’s curriculum, taking in subjects such as History, Geography and ICT whilst continuing the progress made in Maths, English and Science. KS2 sets out the subjects studied, topics covered, tests taken and expected standards for children, before culminating in the SATs exams at the end of Year 6. We can help guide your child throughout this four-year journey and help give them a platform for future success, with both group and 1-2-1 classes available.
Key Stage 3
Once a student begins their next chapter of their education in secondary school, it is vital that they lay a good foundation for success in their formative years. Years 7-9 are vital in preparing them for GCSEs, A Levels and beyond, and we have tutors able to help students excel in this transitional period. At this point students will be studying three separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), ICT, typically a foreign language such as French, Spanish or German, as well as humanities (History and Geography) and core subjects Maths and English. We have tutors available for all of these subjects and many more!
